Romantic & Creative Ways to Say “Thanks” to That Special Someone in Your Life

The holiday season is quickly approaching and many consider Thanksgiving to be the kick-off for this festive time of year. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on who and what we are thankful for and this month’s column is dedicated to assisting you in showing “thanks” to your loved one. Many clients choose to book an Amorous Adventure™ simply because they have such little time to put an intricate and detailed romantic excursion together. During the holidays when we are booked with social engagements, family visits, children home from school and many other wonderful but time consuming activities, we tend to forget to nurture those relationships closest to us.

In last month’s column ideas were provided on how to turn an ordinary walk in the park into your very own Amorous Adventure™. This month, you will have the opportunity to learn new and creative ways to turn ordinary holiday time festivities into a romantic experience with your loved one. Many times the simple acts of love and appreciation are what mean so much. You do not necessarily have to spend a great deal of time planning something for it to be special and romantic. Using a little creativity and incorporating your partner’s interests, you can create a very unique and romantic adventure or gift for your loved one.

Keeping with the Thanksgiving theme this month, we have created a list of ideas to assist you in expressing your appreciation for that special someone in your life. You are encouraged to take these ideas and personalize them further by integrating special details that apply especially to you and your partner.

• Send him/her a personalized Thanksgiving email greeting filled with love and thanks
• Write a list of all the reasons you are grateful for your sweetie and then share it with them
• Prepare a meal with your favorite holiday treats and take your partner for a surprise picnic
• Make time to run a fun holiday errand together, maybe a trip to the grocery store or shopping for your children, whatever it is, cherish the time together, away from everyone else
• Bake (or buy) your partner’s favorite sweet treat and surprise them with it after a shared meal
• Create a romantic fall evening by sharing your favorite bottle of wine outside under the stars; share the reasons that you are grateful for having him/her in your life.
• Visit a craft store and purchase holiday scented candles and colored leaves. Scatter the leaves around the floor of a room in your house and light the candles. When your partner arrives home this house will be filled with wonderful holiday scents, then you can sit in the pile of leaves and reminisce about falling in love! Candles come in many holiday scents such as Pumpkin Spice, Sugar Cookie & Spiced Cocoa just to name a few!
